Footer

Footer is in the left-hand menu, under Site Structure. It holds everything at the bottom of every page — contact details, footer menus, partner logos and the small print.

The seven tabs

Tab What it controls
Branding Footer logo, tagline, and an optional background image with a colour overlay
Social Social media icons shown in the footer
CTAs Call-to-action buttons (e.g. "Search Listings")
Contact Email, phone, fax, hours, address lines, and a map link
Link Columns The columns of links across the middle of the footer
Partners Partner or affiliate logos
Bottom Bar The copyright line and the very bottom row of legal links

Updating contact details

  1. Click Footer in the left-hand menu.
  2. Open the Contact tab.
  3. Update Email, Phone, Fax or Hours as plain text.
  4. Address Lines is a list — add or remove a line for each part of the address.
  5. Map Link works like any other link (see Header for the three link types) and is usually a Custom URL pointing at a map.
  6. Click Save.

The footer appears on every page, so this is the fastest way to get a phone number or address correction live everywhere at once. It's also the page people are most likely to check when they want to reach you, and the one most likely to go stale — worth a look whenever your hours or address change.

Link Columns

Each Column has a Heading, up to 24 links, and an optional description. This is the main footer menu — add a column for each group of links you want (About, Resources, and so on), then add links to it the same way as the header.

Partners

Add a partner's Name, Logo, a link, and optional Alt Text. Order in the list is the order they appear.

Bottom Bar

Copyright is the text line at the very bottom. Legal Links and Secondary Links are two separate small link lists next to it — typically things like Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. Disclaimer is a longer block of small print, if you need one.

There is no draft for the footer. Saving publishes the change immediately, everywhere.
