Forms

Forms is under Site Features in the left-hand menu. It's where you build the forms used around the website — contact forms, sign-up forms, and anything else that collects information from a visitor.

A form you build here doesn't appear anywhere by itself — you place it on a page using a Form Block or a Contact block. See Page blocks.

Building a form

  1. Click Forms in the left-hand menu.
  2. Click Create New.
  3. Give the form a Title — this is how you'll find it when adding it to a page, not something visitors see.
  4. Add the Fields the form should collect, one at a time, choosing a field type for each and setting whether it's required.
  5. Set the Submit Button Label.
  6. Set what happens after someone submits — a Confirmation Message shown on the page, or a redirect to another page.
  7. Add an Email entry if you want a notification sent when the form is submitted.
  8. Click Save.

Payment fields aren't available in this form builder — this isn't a payment-collection tool.

Adding the form to a page

Add a Form Block (a bare form, with optional intro text) or a Contact block (a full contact section with address/phone/map alongside the form) to a page, and choose your form from the Form field. See Page blocks for the difference between the two.

Editing a form

Changes to a form's fields, confirmation message or notification emails take effect immediately — there's no draft step. If people are actively using the form, avoid removing a field they might be relying on mid-fill.

Where responses go

Every submission is stored in Form Submissions — see that article for what you can see there and how notification emails work.
