MLS Tools

MLS Tools is under Content in the left-hand menu. It holds the cards that link agents out to external MLS systems — Matrix, Realist, CMA 360, and similar tools your association provides access to.

Adding a tool

  1. Click MLS Tools in the left-hand menu.
  2. Click Create New.
  3. Fill in a short Label (e.g. "Matrix") and a Title (the heading shown on the card).
  4. Write a Description.
  5. Upload a Background Image for the card.
  6. Set the Link — where clicking the card sends someone.
  7. Set Sort — controls the display order; lower numbers come first.
  8. Click Save.

Who can change these

Unlike most screens in this CMS, MLS Tools has no role restriction on adding, editing or deleting. Every other content collection here limits creating or deleting to specific roles (typically Editor and Admin, or Admin only) — MLS Tools doesn't. Anyone signed in, at any role including Viewer, can add, change or remove a tool card.

This looks like an oversight rather than a deliberate choice, and it's been flagged internally. Until it's tightened up, treat this screen with the same care you'd want a role restriction to enforce — double-check a change before saving, and know that any signed-in user could alter or delete these cards.

Where this appears on the website

A MLS Tools block placed on a page shows a grid of the tool cards you pick, in Sort order. See Page blocks.
