Political news
Political News works the same way as News, but with one important difference: it isn't in the left-hand menu.
Where to find it
- Click Dashboard in the left-hand menu (or the TaliCMS logo) to go to the admin home screen.
- Under Collections, look for the Political News card.
- Click it to open the list, or click the + on the card to create a new one directly.
There's no menu item for it and no dedicated card elsewhere — the Dashboard is the only way in. If you can't find it, that's the reason; it isn't missing, it's just not in the sidebar.
Adding a political news item
Same process as News: Title, Description, Publication Date and Expiration Date, Card Image, a Category, and the article body. Category and Card Image are both required here.
The body uses the same six blocks as News (Text Section, Image Left/Text Right, Image Right/Text Left, People Cards, FAQ Section, Accordion), plus the same side-panel options.
The sidebar checkboxes
Same set as News: Homepage Visibility, Spotlight Visibility, Member Only, and Tags.
There is no draft. Saving publishes immediately, same as News.
Where this appears on the website
At /political-news/ followed by the item's slug. A Political News List block placed on a page shows a filterable list — it looks and works exactly like the News List block, just pulling from this collection instead. See Page blocks.
